When a person sweats, the skin becomes more conductive due to the presence of sweat, which contains electrolytes. Quantitative Sudomotor Axon Reflex Testing (QSART): QSART is a specialized test that measures how well the sweat glands respond to a stimulus, usually a small electrical current or a chemical called acetylcholine. It assesses the integrity of the autonomic nervous system, which controls involuntary bodily functions like sweating.
